History

In 2021 The Goldeneyes (Mike Gross, Scott Jones & Matt Glass) ran a fundraiser for their album A Strange Moment In Time, to raise money they made remasters of some of their earliest recordings from their time in The Brobecks. Remasters of the bands 4-Track Tapes, 2003 Demo Disc and their album The 4th Of JuLive were available through The Goldeneyes bandcamp page. None of these remasters included the tracks of Dallon Weekes as he was not part of the project.

This remaster of The 4th Of JuLive would be the first time Scotts tracks for the album were ever heard by fans, as he left the band shortly before they put out the album through their mp3.com page. The original mixes of Scotts tracks would later be found.

These remasters were later removed from bandcamp in 2024 after The Brobecks got back together for who knows why, but now that you cannot purchase this with your hard earned money we offer it for download for all you people that missed it for the 3 years it was up.

Trivia

The tracks Lucinda and Cowboy Song are remastered from Mikes vocal dubs rather than Scotts vocals, this makes these the highest quality we have the tracks with Mikes vocals in as we only have the original from mp3.com exports.

The track list order of this remaster is inconsistent, we have it written out the way it was on bandcamp but the CDr’s were different. Order it however you desire given that the original track order with Scotts tracks included is not known.
