History
After the bands breakup in 2007 Dallon would recruit Matt Seppi and Drew Davidson to reform the band. He then relocated the band to California where he began making more guitar centered music with Casey Crescenzo of The Dear Hunter.
While working on music for the bands next album they recorded these basement demos, all of these tracks would later be recorded for Violent Things with the exception of Don’t Like You Anymore.
This EP’s release show was on September 29th, 2007 at The Avalon Theatre in Salt Lake City, Utah with Seve Vs Evan, Broke City & In:aviate. After that the EP was put up on their Purevolume page and their MySpace page.
Trivia
Credits for this release are unfortunately not included on the bandcamp page, the only place this EP is still available. The purevolume page may have had more information but is unfortunately excluded from the wayback machine, the bands myspace blog is also very limited in what was archived. The credits on the right are my best guess.
The cover art for this release directly uses a painting by artist Andy Warhol, titled Pink Knives…because they’re knives that are pink.
The track Don’t Like You Anymore was reportedly titled “Don’t Like You, Annie Moore” on some files shared by the band, perhaps showing an early title for the track or just a little Easter egg in the metadata.
