These solo acoustic takes on some tracks were recorded by Mike in January of 2004, the bands website makes no mention of them and I don’t believe they were shared online. These were likely just some acoustic proof of concepts as the songs evolved more, as live updates of The Cowboy Song and Downtown would be performed later that year.

Trivia

The original file for Nicole is titled ‘Ahh Ahh Dah Dah’, however the metadata is properly titled. An early title for the song? Random file name? Who knows.
