History

This recording was made by the band some time in late 2002 or early 2003 on a 4-Track tape recorder, it’s quite possible this was one of the very first songs that Mike Gross recorded vocals for with the band. It features both Mike Gross and Scott Jones alternating vocals.

The band recorded a music video of sorts using this recording, it features Scott Jones in front of a blanket doing strange miming’s to the song. It’s unknown if the video was ever released by the band to more than close friends.

The song itself is said to be “based on actual events” and the band members have said it’s from a rumor about someone at their high school. Future recordings of this song would instead feature Mike and Dallon alternating vocals after Scott left the band.

This track was remastered by The Goldeneyes (Scott Jones, Matt Glass & Mike Gross) in 2021 with the rest of the 4-Track Tapes (minus Dallons tracks) and the original mix was not obtained until 2024.
