This recording was made by the band some time in late 2002 or early 2003 on a 4-Track tape recorder, and may have been one of the first tracks Dallon ever recorded vocals for with the band as “The Brobecks” along with Ollie, Boring & Please Don’t Jump.

This recording was never shared by the band, the song itself would not be heard by fans until 2012, long after The Brobecks stopped being active, when Dallon got together with Matt Glass and some studio musicians to record a new version of it for the Quiet Title EP.

Due to this recording never having been released and primarily featuring the vocals & writing of Dallon Weekes we will not share any more than the lyrics provided here, unless explicit permission is given otherwise.

The girl might think she’s got a trick up her sleeve
The truth of it is she’s getting hard to believe
Don’t want to go home I just want to have some fun
Please don’t say I’m done
you’re better than anyone I know
The girl might think that she’s got me in her pocket
The truth of it is my heart, and I [got to lock it?]
Don’t want to go home I just want to have some fun
Please don’t say I’m done
you’re better than anyone I know, I know
Don’t wanna go home I just want to have some fun
Please don’t say I’m done
You’re better than anyone I know, I know
Don’t wanna go home I just want to have some fun
Please don’t say I’m done
You’re better than anyone I know, I know
