These demos were originally thought to simply be live recordings from the band, as they were found in a folder simply titled March 2005. A copy of the disc was later found showing that they were actually the first demos of 2 tracks the band would later record for their album Goodnight, And Have A Pleasant Tomorrow.

It’s unknown exactly when and where these were recorded, The band made only one post to their website in March. It was on March 1st where they mention having some new songs in the works, and being close to a deal with an indie label.

These are notably the only recordings of these songs that feature Matt Glass and Bryan Szymanski. They departed from the band just 2 months later and all future recordings feature Nate Leslie and Dave Chisholm filling their respective roles.

The metadata on the original disc titles each song (First Demo), showing that these were the very first recordings the band made for the songs Sleeping Pills and I’ll Break Your Arm.
