New Years Special (December 31st, 2003)
History
“Recorded Live on new years eve with a small gathering of people at The Brobeck garage. Featuring Three new songs. with special guest Scott Jones on tambourine and screams.” – Brobecks.com (the original one)
It’s unknown when exactly this was added to the bands website but it was the first live performance in their mp3 section. The band dates it as December 31st, 2003 so it was likely performed the night of new years eve and not on new years day.
Trivia
There seems to be some alternate versions of these live discs, as some discs have been found that feature the song The Truth About You and others feature the song She’s Got It by Scott Jones seemingly interchangeably. The exact track order with all of them together is a little iffy, but what isn’t? We combine them for simplicity.
Mike calls File Code “Code #1459” this early which really does make us wonder when if ever it was called what the original lyric page calls it. How did 4152 become 1459 Mike. How.
This performance of Monday Morning features Dallon on vocals for the verses and Scott doing the chorus, taking us all back to the 1000 West days that we weren’t there for.
