Boring (4-Track Tapes)
History
This recording was made by the band some time in late 2002 or early 2003 on a 4-Track tape recorder, and may have been one of the first tracks Dallon ever recorded vocals for with the band as “The Brobecks” along with Ollie, Anyone I Know & Please Don’t Jump.
This recording was never shared by the band, the song itself wouldn’t be heard by fans until 2005 when it was recorded for the album Happiest Nuclear Winter.
Due to this recording never having been released and primarily featuring the vocals & writing of Dallon Weekes we will not share any more than the lyrics provided here, unless explicit permission is given otherwise.
Lyrics
Boring, everything is boring
Every days the same, everybody’s lame
Boring, all’s I know’s it’s boring
Every days the same, everybody’s lame
It’s up to you to find something to do
Just leave [???], and it’s alright
He said that she said that we’re fine
He said that she said it’s alright
Boring, every day is boring
Everything’s the same, everybody’s lame
Boring, All’s I know it’s boring
Everything’s the same, everybody’s lame
It’s up to you to find something to do
just leave [???], and it’s alright
He said that she said we’ll be fine
[I said and I said?] I’ll be alright
